Ode to Borris

An ode to my dog Borris.
My dad first picked up Borris at a local farm outside of Walla Walla, Washington, 11 years ago. It was the fall and he was about 2-3 months old by then, so he must have been born somtime during the summer of 94. He was a present for my brother's birthday. Coby and I named him on the way home to Seattle. He was named after Borris from BULLWINKLE. We thought maybe he counterpart Netasha would some day come along. I moved back to Montana to finish school and Borris stayed in Seattle. Eventually I moved back to Seattle in 2000, and it turned out that I became the owner of Borris after a while there. He's been a fortunate dog who's always been able to go to work with me or my brother, and be by my side at all times. Borris has made a lot of friends along the way. This year he's been back in Montana, and enjoying the outdoors and especially the rivers and creeks. He's always been a big swimmer. He can swim for hours and hours, and could probably swim himself to death if you let him. Water, sticks, and treats are his favorite things. It's been fun having him along everywhere I go, I end up getting a lot of funny photos of him. Here are a few.
