A Day in the Swamp

A week ago I had nothing better to do than to get all camo'd out and sit on the edge of a beaver pond. An oasis amongst the sage brush as it were. Spent about 5 hours just sitting and watching all the wonderful "life" happening around me. Here are a few images from that evening.

  1. Now if I can just figure out how to make sense of what I just posted, all would be well. Darn computers anyway.

  2. Yeah, the visual editor here on Blogger isn't so sweet, and most people don't know how to use the code end of things. But the images are awesome. Vic Goff will dig these I'm sure, we're 'bird folks'. I'm curious where you were, Ken, the variety of birds is awesome. Well done!

  4. No doubt, Ken, beautiful pictures you captured. That is right up my alley, just sitting and waiting near water to see what wildlife creeps (or flies) up around you. Such a great time of year with all the bird activity a flutter. You caught some nice species here, love the teals and the "peeps" and the display of the heron in that one shot. Lovely!

  5. And the nice thing about it is its only a half hour from home, just outside of Clyde Park. Ken
