Space Shuttle fly in Iraq!

Just before the sunset, I decide to fly with my Space Shuttle, there was no busters or rockets except my hand, sure
this small little Piece of plastic cannot put my out of the earth's
atmosphere to see the beauty of our unique planet without the hate of
mankind to mankind, without terror and terrorists, away from global
warming and car noises, but this is a dream is very hard to become
true for an Iraqi people in these hard days!

Acklins Island, Bahamas

I recently traveled to Acklins Island in the Bahamas with my buddies Eric and Scott to visit a friends new fishing lodge. Acklins has only 400 residents and the village we stayed in only around 100. The island seems like it is at the end of the world despite being littered with ship wrecks and crashed drug planes. The locals are so laid back that literally almost nothing ever gets done. Except on "Homecoming" week, which we were lucky enough to see. Homecoming is a 3 day barbecue/bender where anyone who has moved away from the village comes home for a big ol' throw down. A couple of days before the scheduled date everyone repainted the local shops and common area, found their one nice set of clothes, opened restaurants and washed their cars. The kids put on a Junkanoo parade that ended in the common area dancing and playing music for 45 min. non stop. Hard to beat.

Not Even Once

Jay and I did a whirlwind tour up to White Sulfer, across to Harlowtown, down to Big Timber and back home last Saturday. Funny thing - we drove all that way to photograph the windmills outside Judith Gap and because I didn't take the time to actually look at the map in my hands, we turned the wrong way and didn't get the chance. Still a fun day hanging out with Jay, though, and MT's always pretty - no matter where you are. Here's a picture I snapped in Harlowtown, I guess they're having problems with the kids and drugs or something. I thought it was kind of ironic to have the meth sign on the side of a drugstore and bar...

New Photo Studio in Bozeman

Greetings Livingston Photo Society friends and visitors!!

It's been a while since I stopped by to post. So, well, here's a fatty.

I am excited to announce that Larry Stanley Photography and Lauren Brown Photo have opened a studio together in Bozeman. Yep, all our work under one roof in a really cool studio on the North side. We've joined a collective of creative types... hard working and fun loving, designers, photographers (Lauren and I), sound guys, digital animators, and film makers.

More on all the details later, but for right now WELCOME to our Studio! Drop by and see us sometime at Peach Street Studios, 627 East Peach Street, Bozeman,MT. Lauren and I had fun taking pictures of ourselves in the new digs. Enjoy!

Oh yeah... the Lab is Yeshe. She's my photo assistant. She helps me eat things that I can't. ha ha ha

West Forkarod

Mom and I went on a dog sled ride this morning. We had perfect day, a terrific guide, well behaved dogs, and made a few new friends. These dogs are really amazing animals. They LOVE what they do, and it made our day!
