Spent Christmas day down in Yellowstone. It was cloudy all day and warmed up to about+12 in Lamar Valley. Just a nice day to be in the park. Here are some pictures of the critters I saw. Ken

A new guest in the Solar System!

Some times we are welcomed with very strange guests!
This time a giant comet visited our Solar System called Holmes...With a diameter of morethan 1.5 million Km- Thats meanning lareger than our Sun!- and with 260 million Km away from earth, it is very hard to see it now with the naked eye, but there was a good chance to take many photos for it last month by my camera.

Welcome and good by Comet Holmes... Have a nice jorney inside Solar System!

Pheasant Times

I went pheasant hunting with a couple of friends yesterday. I just carried my camera around and took pictures of the day and the experience, what a great time. It was rippin' cold, but we were bundled up and I actually got hot from time to time. We must have walked about 8 or 10 miles, so the blood was flowin'. Good times with good friends.

Breakage

There seems to be a problem with Blogger and their header image script. As you can see, the header image for our site has been shrunk substantially. There's currently no fix in place, so I'll update things as soon as there is.

UPDATE I: 12-17-07
They say to make lemonade... I cropped an image to fit what has unfortunately become our new header size. Not sure what's going on, but it just won't give. Still, it looks better than nothin'.

UPDATE II: 12-17-07
I made a few changes which allow use to have the normal header back. This is great, except it makes it a bit harder for search engines to find us. We'll see how this works out...

Been 'away'...

I've been working on some personal projects recently, so I must apologize for the absence. I've decided to start selling my prints in earnest and needed to have the basic framework in place to be able to do so. That's where I've been...

If anyone is going to post in the next few days/week, there might still be an issue with the upload process. Instead of opening images in your browser, it prompts you to save them on your computer...not good. So, when you're posting, if you're HTMl savvy and want to tinker, do so. If not, I'm happy to edit the code for you. This just started happening, and hopefully will be resolved soon.

For my images I'm just picking and placing here, as none of these are new. I've been going back through my three 'recent' trips to Utah and it's been a blast. Here are a few of my favorites I've 'rediscovered' so far.
