Way late on commenting here, Lindsay. These are great (and scary) shots. I know firsthand how difficult lightning can be to photograph, you did an awesome job here. The first image in the series proves what few people know...lightning doesn't strike downward from the sky, it actually starts on the ground and goes up. Of course that's only the case for bolts that contact the surface, but still an interesting fact. Thanks for posting up.
