Summer time rolls

Well not much to say but, WHAT A GREAT SUMMER! Not too much time put into snapping these, which makes them kinda cool. Just a moment in time. We all look kinda worked in the last one, 5 days of beach camping, sun and ocean will do that to you.

Oregon Coast

Here are some pics from a trip to Oregon 1 week ago. I lucked out with the weather, it was probably one of the most summer like days I've had on the coast. Perfect weather around 60. The waves were huge and the surfers were loving life. Some shots are from an overlook onto Canon Beach, and the beach at Seaside. Great to get some Ocean time in.

Jay and I were a little off in our location last night for the sunset, but it was still pretty amazing.

State Fair of Texas

Adirabugride2

We always go to the State Fair of Texas on the last Tuesday the fair is open and today was that day. Took lots of photo's, many I'm sure just for me. If your ever in Dallas, in October, be sure to stop through.

UT2

Jay and I hit Utah again this past week, discovering what 'the rainy season 3 days away from civilization" translates into. I could write a book about our adventures, as this was definitely the most dangerous trip I've ever been on, but I'll spare you all the scary details and just show some of the pretty stuff...it was also the most beautiful.

Boulder Burn

The Jungle fire up the West Boulder was a big beast, and you could see this tremendous cumulus cloud from Livingston. 2 weeks later, after a nice rain and snow, the fires were out, and I headed up to see my friend who lives in the Boulder Valley, and take some snaps. These are digi pics, the good shots were saved for my 35mm, hopefully I'll post some of those later. It was a very bright day so a lot of shots were kind of blown out. You can see the burned out area on the West Boulder, some burn up the Main Boulder, and then some areas down on the Webber ranch. I love that feeling when you come over Swinley Road, you're looking up at the sky up the steep hill, and you hit the top and can see the vast land of Boulder area, it always sinks my stomach like a roller coaster.
