Very cool stuff! I used to do the same thing when I lived in LA, but it always came out funky. Maybe it's the problem with 'grading' your own work vs. others', but I really like these shots. Everyone is usually so focused on composition, lighting, tone...you've taken it all and slashed it through with blades of nightlight. Great addition to the blog...
There is a definate technique to the madness. Compostion, tone and lighting still matter. Using digital helps to achieve want I want more quickly then I could have done shooting film. If you want to see more I have a few ones left worth showing.
Now that is art!
