Bugged inside and out

I did some macro and depth of field experiments with my new lenses on Andrew’s front porch this last Thursday. The spiders were shot with a 70-200mm from about 4 feet away, the moths are all with a 17-40mm at about 5 inches. Crazy clarity in the originals – these downsampled images don’t do them much justice. This crazy camera is going to make an entomologist out of me yet…

  1. The barn spider shot is pretty wild, good lighting too!

  2. These are amazing and came out with much justice on here! The one of the moth all wrapped up is insane. Nice light.
